free space on hard drive

Johnny

After installing XP the computer seems to be running from
the smaller partition of my disc. There is very marginal
free space on that drive, such that I can't download or
install anything extra. I have 14 G available on the
other drive. How can I reappropriate free space or
change the drive which runs my computer?
Or who do I ask for help?

make sure you have not set your bios to boot from the
wrong drive, secondly, run fdisk and check which partition
is set to active, if its the small partition, set the big
one to active and boot from the xp cd, then reinstall xp.

should be fine then.
