format line missing when output report to Rich Text Format

I have a line in the report group header that shows in the report preview but disapears when output the report to Rich Text Format file. I know I can output to snapshot to avoid the problem. But the problem is I need the output in .rtf format so that the report can be edited and redistributed to different people again.
Please advice. Thank you for your help!

The export to RTF process is Text only. There is no built in alternative
solution to this issue that will allow for an editable RTF document
containing graphics, Images etc.
The only solution would be to use a Word Document Template and perform a
Mail Merge with your Access data or use Automation of the Word object to
create your document from scratch.

Hi Stephen,

Nice work on the RTF2 control, thanks.

Speaking of Automation, does your control support a method to move the rtf
data correctly from access to word ?

I do not want to use a temporary file as this will be horribly slow. My idea
is to use the clipboard to move the data into a Word document.

Do we have a copytoclipboard method or simithing similar ?

Thanks for your time and efforts,
Francois
