Nikon D40X DSLR Camera, as new, with:
Standard 18-55mm af-s Lens
18-135mm Zoom af-s Lens
Tiffen 67mm Ultra Violet Filter for 18-135 Lens
Battery charger
Two extra batteries (3 in total)
2Gb Sandisk Extreme II memory card
2Gb Sandisk Regular memory card
Lowepro Slingshot AW100 Case
All Documents; Manuals; CD's

£350.00 inc postage

Everything is as new, purchased in June 2007. I haven't used it as much as I thought I would, hence the sale.

I've just purchased a Canon G9 which suits my needs better.

Collectively, if purchased new now, the best prices I could find on the Net total £711.00.

£350.00 price includes recorded delivery with Royal Mail. If you wish to view/try before purchase and collect, I'm next to Greenwich main line Railway Station.

Ok, I may have been a little optimistic with my original asking price of £500.00 so have reduced price to £450.00.

I have also removed all irrelevant posts.

Thank you for looking :)

Hey, i think £500 is a good price, unfortunately i wouldn't use it, but have been looking around the Camera Base is £310 on its own.

Ebay, start at 99p but put a reserve on it for the lowest you take it for it.

Actually, it really is a good camera, but it's for the enthusiast who doesn't mind lugging a big camera about.

I've come to realise I don't need a Pro/Semi Pro camera, just something fairly compact that takes a good pic, hence the G9.

Picture quality on the D40X is quite superb, it's just that I wanted something smaller.

Ok, this is just gathering dust so I've bumped the thread and reduced the last asking price of £450.00 to £350.00 inc. postage.

If no takers here in a few days I'm going to put it on Amazon and Play.com for £400.00. And if that fails then E-Bay with a reserve of £375.00

For reference, some pix taken with the D40X about one hour ago.

All pix taken with 18-135 lens.

Pix 1-16 show pic in standard lens mode followed by full zoom pic, just to give an idea of the zoom available with the lens.

All pix reduced from 3872 pixels wide to 800 pixels wide to suit forum.

And pix # 12 shows the London Eye on the right, a hazy summer evening here.
