To Whom It May Concern:

I am seeking help regarding the "thorcommwndclass" error that arises
during shutdown of Windows XP. I have searched the web and ran into
multiple explanations of why this is occuring.
- inetcomm.dll mismatch per the below message
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...4afb464ad259f/fbfe060ec02f3e3#fbfe060ec02f3e3
- error between Outlook and the screensaver "My Pictures Slideshow"
http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6142-0.html?forumID=5&threadID=53370&messageID=636332
- pst file corruption
- corrupted e-mail in the inbox
- etc.

I would like some clarification around what the "real" issue is. I
have run the compare between the dll files and found nothing. Some
background on my outlook usage. I am using outlook with some web
accounts, an imap account, and some traditional pop/smtp servers. I
also have multiple pst files (of significant size) open and accessible
while outlook is running. I typically have a 300 messages in an inbox
at any one time. I have also run the typical virus scans and so forth
and found nothing.

I am seeking specifically:
- what function the "thorcommwndclass" file performs?
- what steps I can take to resolve myself of this problem.

Like others, I have witnessed significant slow down on my computer and
performed many typically recommended fixes. I cannot explain why I
have that slowdown outside of this program arising when I shutdown. It
would not surprise me if it was an internet issue because windows is
infamous for slowing down when it is having internet connectability
issues in any application, but then again, I am guessing like I have
read from others.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Jason
