Fillings File As field with Email Adresses

I have imported 500+ email addreses into a contact folder. They filled to the "eamil address" field but I also need them to fill the "File As" field so I can get them all into a distribution list

Any easy way to do this

I don't understand what you need to do or why. What does populating the File
As field have to do with creating a DL? The File As... field is a derived
field, derived from name elements. Did you import email addresses and no
names? If so, how did you expect the File As... field to be populated?
