File is corrupted windows root system 32 ntoskrnl.exe

My laptop will not boot up even in safe mode. It says file corrupted <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe reinstall. The problem is I just moved and can not find my XP disk, I can only find my Windows 2000 and I put that in but it doesn't do anything because I can't even get to the start up menu to run it (I would also prefer keeping XP). Is there any other way around this?

Thank You,
