"file \hal.dll could not be loaded" error code 7

I have just installed the 3rd boot disk for windows xp,
and the message,"file \hal.dll could not be loaded error
code 7. Set up cannot continue"

Can anyone help me with this?

For .dll errors or events,go to technet at microsoft.com,search
type:dll erro
In the new window look for help/tech info,you need to get to thier dll erro
on-line tech utility.It has most,if not all dll error/event solutions after you typ
in some info.

Do a Google search for: hal.dll There are several discussions about the problem.

If you are booting the set of six floppies something has gone wrong with
generating: either the download was damaged, or more likely there was a
glitch in writing one of the floppies. Try again (bearing in mind that
they are only needed where there is *no* floppy drive on the machine -
normally one sets to boot CD first and boots the XP CD directly
