File Folder File Association

I installed and removed a file association for the "file
folder" (or maybe it was the "folder") file type. The
only default association listed was "search". I removed
the added associations in the registry, but now "search"
has become the default action, instead of "open" How can
I fix this?

Hi Frank,
At Start>Run, type REGSVR32 /i SHELL32.DLL and press enter.

Hi Frank,
Glad to know that your problem is solved. Simply put, it re-registers the
shell32.dll file and hence the file association for the type "File folder"
is restored.
