FEAR loading failure after installing patch

I installed the latest patch for Fear (1.02) and now it wont load. FEAR.EXE appears in task manager. but nothing seems to happen.

I am guessing its going to be a reinstall, if nobody has got any ideas?

If anyone else is havin probs with this then check out the Fear forums, seems there's quite a few people havin the same prob.....

I'll try their 'fix' first but dont know if its gonna work
