FAX Console says MS Shared Printer Driver is not Installed

FAX Printer shows up in Installed printers, but when I try to view Prperties
I get the above message. I was having this problem before I recently
installed SP3. I read "Magsmom" post and downloaded and tried to install the
Hotfix in KB884018. I received the message that it was not installed since
SP3 was later than the hotfix. I also ran the Command Line :"esentutl /p
%windir%\security\database\secedit.sdb"
which also didn't fix the problem. FAX console runs very well except for
this. I was able to send and receive FAXes before, even after SP2. Is it
possible to reinstall the printer driver?

FWIW, I've only seen two or three similar reports on the XP Fax service post
SP3 install and yours is the first indicating that the current fixes don't
work. In two of the other cases, removing SP3 solved the problem. I have
no idea if that would help you, but it's all I can suggest right now.
