Faint or very light printed email messages in Outlook 2003

How can I darken my printed email messages in Outlook 2003?

Header of emails and all other applications printing fine. There are no
problems with the printer or toner cartridge; problem seems to be a setting
in Outlook 2003?

Suggestions please! Happy New Year!

the only thing I can think of is the font color for the messages is not
black - look in tools, options, mail format, fonts.

Thanks Diane:

I set all the font settings which really only semd to apply to composing,
replying and reading text. I changed all these to arial black and still in
the print preview the message was faint eventhough it was the same as the
header in the original email.

I unchecked the automatically display rich text box and reset to default
settings. When I checked print preview again, the message was the same
darkness and sharpness as the header.

Thanks again,

Kim
