Not sure what to do or even whats causing this, i have deleted the folders,
re-created them including the contents and the same things happen over.

Any advice greatly recieved.

I find your issue interesting in that i have a related problem. I have lost
my thumbnails and the filmstrip view is non-functional. I remember haveing
*.db files ages ago, thought that was another windows OS, i can't find them
now, of course, but that may be my problem. This seems to have started, or at
least i noticed it, after i update to SP3 a week or so ago. all of the
trouble reports i find concerning this issue have not been any where near the
cause of the failure, but everyone is trying to be helpful in telling you to
"right-click on a clear area of the folder",etc. Listen folks, it's deeper
than that. i expect it's a register issue and it doesn't have anything to do
with the Fax viewer. What is it?
