execute rsh from batch file and display command window

From a form command button I am executing a batch file that contains an rsh
command. A command window just flashes (opens and closes) and the rsh
process appears to not be executing. How can I have the command window
remain open so I can verify execution or debug problems? The batch file does
work from Start Run.

I am using Access 2002 with Windows 2000, Service Pack 4
