Every Other Song Plays

I have created a photo slideshow in powerpoint 2002.
There are 56 slides ( 1-4 pictures per slide)in the
slideshow. I inserted 10 music files onto 10 different
slides throughout the slideshow. Some songs are supposed
to stop playing after 5 slides, some are supposed to stop
playing after 15 slides. The last song is supposed play
until the song is over. The problem is when you view the
slideshow the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th songs plays when
they should and stop playing when they should but the
2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th songs never play, however the
slideshow does not pause.

Always state your version of PowerPoint.

Try reducing the number of "Play thru ## slides" number by 1 on each of the
music files and see if this allows the remaining songs to play.

Heh, either that or increasing the number to the full number of slides
in the presentation. (I know, it's counterintuitive, but it works --
depending on WHICH VERSION OF POWERPOINT THE POSTER IS USING.)
