error when trying to play internet radio stream

Help, Please! I am running windows 2000, with the newest
Windows media player. I have tried to listen to several
internet radio stations (streamaudio.com) in IE6, brings
up the IE6 little window with the media player inside, but
when it starts opening, I get the following message:
"/SystemRoot/system32/drivers/mskssrv.sys device driver
could not locate the entry point KsCacheMedium in driver
KS.sys". I've tried uninstalling Media player 9 and
reinstalling...doesn't work. Not sure what to try next.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have similar problem in my w2k and I've wrote a question
to some discussions not having any help. My problem occurs
when I installed WinAmp3. After that my AVI-files recorded
with digital camera didn't work properly. Either the sound
or picture are missing. So I remove WinAmp but the problem
exists. I have also WMP9, Real1Player and QuickTime
installed. I have tried to uninstall all players except
original WMP. It hasn't helped a thing. I'm pretty sure
that the problem is in the Register, but I don't know how
to fix it. There is in Computer Management - Device
Manager - Sound, Video and game controllers section
Windows Streaming Service which looks like unstable and
could be cause of error.
Still want help too )
So this doesn't help you really, but it's for information
that same error has occurred in here also.
