Error when trying to install FSX Demo

Hey gang,

I just downloaded the FSX demo from Microsoft's website, and when I try to
install it, I get the error that tells me "FSXDemo.exe is not a valid Win32
application". How do I fix this? It is extremely frustrating.

The first thing is to assume that the download is corrupt for some reason.
This may be because of IP compression software.
Or, you just happened to get a bad download, and need to obtain a second
copy.
Does your system hardware and software meet the minimum requirements for the
demo?
