Error Synchronizing folder

I have a handful of clients that are experiencing synchronization errors on
in Outlook 2003. We are using Exchange 2003 on the server. I have tried
recreating the .OST, tried recreating the profile on the client, and
reinstalled office. The link given in the error refers to Outlook 2000. I
followed it the best I could for 2003. Nothing in the KB helped. Below is
the error. Any thoughts appreciated.

Are there not any Exchange\Outlook experts working at Microsoft? The post
has been out here for two days an there has not been a response....

I guess I am not surprised since the KB didn't seem to be updated either.

Dave,
You are experencing many of the same problems with Outlook 2003 I and many
others are. "microsoft office outlook has encountered a problem and must shut
down. Sorry for the inconvenience etc etc etc. There has not been a single
"it fixed the problem" posted in 3 weeks.....wish I could have given you more
help. Do a couple things that has helped mine a little
1/ run scanpst to detect and repair your pst files and folders. I had errors
2/ I created a new outlook profile
Other than that I am at a loss.
