ERROR: Property Value is too Large

[C. Sharp]

Ever since I have updated several fields on my "master"
table I get the above mentioned error about property
value is too large. It gives me this error when I try to
add a default value to the field and it does not matter
if it is 2 characters or 20 I get the same error.

I have tried re-creating the field but STILL get the same
error. What is causing this? And do I have to rebuild
my table to make it GO AWAY?
