Error message: My computer is low on Virtual Memory

I keep getting an error box coming up that says my
computer is low on virtual memory. Does anyone know how i
rectify this please??

At the desktop press the F1 key. Search for "virtual memory" Click on
the link that says "Change the size of the virtual memory paging file"
and follow the instructions provided.
