error code 0x80070643

    Hi,
    I cant find any ref to this error code which accompanies the message cant
    perform updates in Defender, any clues, anyone?

    Are you operating from within a corporate environment? If so, your
    adminstrator may need to make the WSUS available to you. In any event, check
    out this Microsoft KB article.
