error 1327 - install fails on XP home

when launching installer i get error 1327, invalid
drive /F: Installer then quits.
I do not have an F drive, im running it as admin on C
drive. Disabled AV for install, no luck- tried re-
downloading, no luck.
My OS is up to date with patches, I'm still on SP1
