Error 1158 Printer Installation

I need some help!!!

I'm trying to install the HP 3500 printer series driver to my computer;
Windows XP Pro with SP2.

I've tried installing the program two ways one from the CD and I've
downloaded the program from the Hp website and I keep getting the same error
1158. No other information it's just a blank box with 1158. I've checked
the Hp site and websites for help and nothing, so I'm really hoping someone
can help me here.

The computer and printer worked together before. I recently installed a new
hdd and reloaded XP and all my other programs now I'm trying to reload the
printer driver and it won't work.

Any help please!!!

Thanks Alan,

Your post got me looking in the right direction... After reading something
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base I put 2 and 2 together and solved my own
problem. I had to turn off the other language program. It was conflicting
with the install and it didn't know which language to read.

Thanks again, my printer is installed and working...

The Windows error is no more user handles. But I have personally never seen
this.
