Error 1004 Display Alerts

I sent my macro to a field user. When I run it, it works as expected. When
they use it, they get the following error message:

Runtime Error 1004

Method DisplayAlerts of object Application failed

Does anyone know what causes this on one machine but not the other? We both
have IE 6.0.

Thanks for the help.....

JT,

It is likely that you have a reference that your user lacks - often, different versions of Office
produce this type of result.

Have the user go into the VBE and check the references of the file for any missing references.

Just a guess...

Maybe you're sharing the workbook via a web page and the users are opening that
workbook in a window in MSIE--instead of excel.

If that's the case, you may want to include instructions so the users can open
excel files in excel:

How to Configure Internet Explorer to Open Office
Documents in the Appropriate Office Program Instead of in Internet Explorer
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=162059

There are just too many things that don't work when an excel file is opened in a
browser.
