Error: 1000008e

I regulary get an error on my computer saying 1000008e.
The system also freezes of restarts almost every day.
I don't have a clue what it could be but I heared more XP-
users have the same problem.
Is there a way to stop this, cause it's realy annoying?

More than likely, bad memory. If you have more than one stick, remove all
but one, then start experimenting with the other sticks to see which one is
bad. Also, disable all over clocking, and check the CAS latency in your
BIOS. Try setting to safe settings to see if it will go away. Did you add
memory recently? Maybe the new memory isn't compatible with the old.
