Equivalent DELTREE /Y *.* command in XP?

Hi. I used to use the
DELTREE /Y *.
command in a DOS Batch file. This would delete my Windows\Temporar
files (without prompting me for a 'Y') from my Autoexec, before the Windows GUI loaded

When I enter Deltree /? in a DOS Prompt in XP, it just hangs

Is there an equivalent DOS command in XP? Thank

Thank you for your reply... As I mentioned, rd /? says that the directory be specifie
in the arg. Deltree does not. It accepts the (quickly becoming extinct) wildcard arg

Any other suggestions are helpful
