Epson CX700F Advanced Mode Settings Gone

I have tried adjusting settings to lighten a scanned image, but am
unable to locate the Advanced Mode Dialog box. The only options I
have are from the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" dialog box menu. There
should be something like Home, Professional, etc. available in another
menu with advanced options, but I have been unable to locate it.

I updated the drivers and have also tried uninstalling and
reinstalling the software, thinking I could use the Repair feature to
replace any missing files. That did not work.

If I try to open files from the scanner desktop icon, I get an error
message that the program is not responding and has to immediately shut
down.

"Scanner and Camera Wizzard" dialog box sounds like windows app. Is
the Scanner "on" and connected to your computer? If not, Epson Scan
won't run.
