Embedded pictures in Outlook email messages

Hi
When receiving emails where people have inserted pictures into the message,
NOT as an attachment, i don't see the pictures. Other colleagues do not have
this problem, the pictures appear on their messages...but not on mine.
I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2 as are all my colleagues. I've checked the
settings in Tools\Options\Security\Change Automatic Download Settings and the
settings are fine. I normally use HTML as my message format.
What am i missing?
Thanks in advance

It seems like they are being converted to plain text. I've checked the
article in your link and none of the suggestions there seem to help.

Just to reiterate, one person will send a mail out with a picture (usually a
graph) inserted into the body of the message, not as an attachment. Everyone
but me can see this picture/graph in their message. All recipients and the
sender are from the same company.

Sender usually sends in HTML format. My options are to view and send mail
using HTML. There is no message in outlook to say that the message was
converted to plain text. AVG is being used as the virus scanner, and the
email options there are turned off

Any more suggestions please?
