Email address not verified even though it says it is on Live Homep

Hello,

I have been going through forums and trying to figure this out. On Windows
live messenger, it says my email address is not verified even though I have
already verified it and it says so on my account info at the live home page.
I can't figure out what do to do fix this problem.

Has this account been linked to another? If so, unlink it
(https://account.live.com/ManageLinks.aspx), then have it send you a verification e-mail
again (if it lets you):
https://account.live.com/verifysi.aspx?mkt=en-us&rp=summarypage

and assuming you're all good there, sign out of Messenger and back in and I think you'll find
you're verified.
