ELO Touch Screen + El Torito

Fabio Gianzanti

Hello all,

is there someone using ELO Touch Screen in your target,
that is on a CD (with EL Torito) ?
In positive case, how are you using the ELO calibration ?
Where are you saving the data ??

Thanks is advance,

Fabio,

I have used the Elo Touch Screen Driver in XPe, but not on a bootable
CD-ROM. Just a thought you might want to calibrate the screen while the
image is in the hard drive, before you create the final ISO image.

Fabio,

Sean is right, as long as the touch screen is calibrated before you create
your final ISO you should be in good shape. The calibration points are
stored in the registry. The only downfall is that once it's set it's pretty
much screen specific. If you buy the integrated screens from ELO the glass
is close on all of them so you may be able to use the CD for several
screens, but we integrate the glass here and have had no luck in keeping it
uniform to the point where a CD works for more than one system. HTH,

Thanks Sean,

I'm already doing by this way, but my problem is when we have to
re-calibrate the screen. In this case, we cannot save the calibration
data. Do you know if there is a way to redirect these data to another
place ?

Fabio,

I haven't tried this, but you would have to point the ELO registry data keys
to a hard drive or other read/writable disk.

Sean
