Edit Outlook, Insert > AutoText > E-mail Signature list?

Word 2003, Outlook 2003, Word is the E-mail editor

In Word, Tools > Options > General tab > E-mail Options button > E-mail
Signature tab, in the box I have some signatures I created.

In Outlook main window, Tools > Options > Mail Format tab > Signature
button > I see the same signatures.

But in Outlook New Message window > Insert > AutoText > E-mail Signature
I have a somewhat different set of signatures, some obsolete.

How do I delete the obsolete signatures on that menu, or, in general,
how do I edit that menu?

I must be missing something simple here.

Just delete them from the AutoText list using Insert | AutoText | AutoText.
They are legacy signatures from pre-Outlook 2002 and have no connection with
your current signatures.
