Every other website besides ebay displays perfectly.
Ebay is all messed up, nothing is in the correct place.
Can someone tell me what I need to change on my computer
to get ebay to display properly? I am using IE6.

Purged the browser's temp file cache yet, including offline content?
Purged the cookies for eBay?

Of course, saying eBay's page layout is "messed up" is about as informative
as telling your car shop that you car "don't work." No details = little
help.

Mike Burgess posted this for another thread, but it could apply here as well
(gamespot.com was 'messed up' on my machine because of a hosts file
problem). I hope he doesn't mind:

4) HOSTS file that contains entries that are blocking access to the desired
site.
Symptom: Page cannot be displayed / Cannot find server or DNS Error

In the event you can not access a site or missing graphics and
you believe it may be due to an entry in the HOSTS file.

You can use a simple batch file to rename the HOSTS file "on-the-fly".

I think I've got a similar problem. As long as I'm not logged in,
everything's fine. After signing in - either with or withou cookie - every
new auction or MyEbay-page results in scripterrors and "junk" ('12DB',
'1000', '1EBC', '1261' and the likes) enbedded in the pages' source code.

The 'Favorites' page in "My eBay" is messed up the worst, with about seven
lines of stuff that seems to belong into some cookie being displayed at
the top.

The pages themselves come through fine with GetRight, so I'm reasonably
sure it's an Internet Explorer 6 (+SP1) problem. I tried deleting the
files and cookies before revisiting eBay, but unfortunately that didn't
help things, either.

To the best of my knowledge, every single other page works fine. According
to Norton Antivirus I'm virus-free and according to Windows Update my IE
is up-to-date.

Does anybody have any idea what's wrong? Or better yet: Does anybody know
how to get my IE back into working condition?
