e-mail from "microsoft" <[email protected]>

Leon Nascimento

I have received the subject e-mail yesterday and today.
When I try to download the attachment my virus software
scanned the attachment and found a virus named
(e-mail address removed). As a resul, I did not proceed with
the downloading.
Would you please clarify this situation for me?
Thanks a lot.

You did not receive an update notification from Microsoft! You
received a virus-laden email message from a devious imposter!

A devious imposter is "spoofing" Microsoft and attempting to deceive you
into installing a malicious VIRUS in your computer! Delete the VIRUS
laden message immediately!

Microsoft never sends file attachments with email messages!
