DX10 to DX9 to DX10 Possible?

Tudo Bem

I upgraded a machine to Vista and was running under DX10, when a game I
installed regressed the libraries and files to DX9. Is it possible to run a
file and bring my Vista rig back to DX10? Thanks.

When you install DX9, you are only installing the missing components
needed by the game. Yoru Vista installation is still DirectX 10. You
can run "dxdiag" from the run menu to see your version.

Hope this helps!

Stop replying to this guys trolls. In case you haven't noticed he keeps
asking dumb questionsn in all the Vista groups. He is a troll I tell ya!

Hey. It's a legitimate question, and I'm sure the answer will probably
help other people as well! :)

This guys trolling seems to be a lot better than the others in
*.vista.general. :)

Seeing this in his headers I doubt he even uses Vista.

What everyone else said, DirectX 1-9 won't overwrite newer files, only add
the ones needed for it's level of DirectX support.
