DVD-RAM Drive Not recognized Burning/DVD Authoring programs

After updating to the new Virus protection security patch
on both of my machines, the DVD-RAM/R drive is not
recognized by either Nero or DVDit. Does anyone know if
there is a problem with the new security patch?

Uninstall the patch to find it out. You can download it again from the
Windows Update site later if this does not help.
