DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (when using wireless 2100 mini PCI, e.g. Centrino)

Hi,

Got this nasty problem with blue screen crash when using my wireless
connection with "high" load, mostly when on battery. The battery normally
work without any problems.

Mostly I get following error situation:
--------------------------------------------------
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Driver: w70n51.sys <- driver used by wireless

Error code 000000d1, parameter1 a94e0199, parameter2 00000002, parameter3
00000001, parameter4 f70a46b0.
--------------------------------------------------

Sometimes I also get blue screen with:
--------------------------------------------------
Error code 40000080, parameter1 822f2ad8, parameter2 82044000, parameter3
82044ff8, parameter4 82044000.
--------------------------------------------------

I have re-installed the wireless drivers, MS Q815485 is removed, PSP
(power management) set to = highest, authentication/WEP is disabled, but
to no avail...

System info:
Acer TM800LCi with centrio (wireless driver v1.0.28.2), www.acer.com
XP SP1 all updates except .NET and mentioned Q815485

Wireless drivers are the latest available from Acer, e.g. v1.0.28.2 (which
is NOT the latest release from Intel. Latest Intel release is v1.2.0.56).
But according to Acer Europe it's "up to Taiwan" when the new drivers will
be released. Apperantly HP, IMB and Dell have already released them, which
might be a good hint in future choice of laptop...

Access Point/ router:
SMC 2404WBR with latest firmware v1.10, www.smc.com

Any one got a clue to resolve this issue?

Thx /Johan

Got hold of the latest 2100 drivers Intel v1.2.0.56 and the problem is
solved.

But I DIDN'T get them from Acer. According to their useless support it was
everything but the drivers...
