Downloading Word fonts

I've discovered that the Windows 98 version of Word
contains fonts that are not included in Office XP
Professional 2002. For example, Word 98 contains Lucida
Sans, but Office XP contains Lucida Sans Console.
Consequently, documents created in Windows 98 with fonts
not included in Word XP do not open properly in Office
XP. Is there a way to either convert Word 98 documents,
or to download fonts into Word XP so that these documents
open in Word XP with the same formatting as they have in
Word 98?

Thanks.

There is no "Windows 98 version of Word." Presumably you were using
Office/Word 97 or 2000. If you installed Office XP/Word 2002 over it, then
you would still have the same fonts, so I assume you have moved to a new
computer. If you still have the old computer, you can copy fonts from the
Fonts folder of the old computer into the Fonts folder of the new one.
Alternatively, if you still have the installation CDS for any of the
following applications that ship with Lucida Sans, you could find it there:
Access 97 SR2, Creative Writer 2, Greetings 99, Home Publishing 99, Office
97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office 97 SR1a, Picture It! 2000, Picture It!
2002, Plus 95, Publisher 2000, Publisher 97, Publisher 98, TrueType Font
Pack, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Works 2002. Note that you will
need to retrieve all variants of the font: Regular, Italic, Demibold, and
Demibold Italic.
