Downloading JPG's

D

Dave Spaulding

I bought a new computer with Windows XP. My last computer
took a crap but I had many JPG files stored on CD's so
ididn't lose them. All my CD's were created woth Adaptec
software. Windows XP will read some of my CD's but not
all. It prompts me that it has the ability to read them,
displays UDF reader Icon on the CD, but will not list or
recognize the CD content. XP will not install Adaptec
because it says it's damaging. How can I read my archive
CD's on to my new drive?

Adaptec v4 will not work on Windows XP. You need v5 or later with the
patches. You can download a UDF reader from Roxio's web site.
