DOS programs under DOS Emulation Fail in XP not NT 2000, WHY DID MSFT Break this

Why is it MSFT broke the ability to run MS DOS Emulation
programs from with XP. This feature works fine in NT 2000
with SVC PK 4, but not latest Security patches. A co-
worker here at NAVSEA Lab, Port Hueneme, installed latest
security patch for NT 4.0 and now this feature doesn't
work in NT 4.0 either.

I thought that Security Patches were to prevent the
outside world from crashing your machine, not you from
trying to do your work!
