Does Vista Run Better With A Particular Security Program?

Symantec, McAfee, Sophos, F-Prot, Kaspersky -- or some other program...

Preferably a suite of programs -- not just Anti-Virus Protection.

Which one runs best, fastest and most smoothly on Vista?

A suite of programs to do what, exactly?

I'm running Avast and Webroot's spysweeper on here with Vista and it seems
to be running just fine, as well as that ever can be said about Vista
anyway.

Similar to the capabilities built into Norton Internet Security -- a suite.

With all those capabilities -- including phishing and email screening.

And DAILY Updates to the AV Program.

AVG as a free version, you don't have to keep renewing a paid
subscription like with Norton and it has a small footprint and it runs
under Vista with no apparant problems so far. Actually for most people
you don't want a bloated suite type application.

So AVG is JUST Antivirus Protection, is that what you're saying?

It has DAILY UPDATES?

Who are these "Most People" you're talking about?

The latest Kaspersky Internet Suite is compatible with Vista. I haven't
used the suite, but I have used AOL antivirus (on XP) which is a re-branded
version of Kaspersky antivirus and I thought it was excellent.

Got it!

You can't answer any of those questions -- but want to convince gullible
folks that AVG is better because it's free -- even if it's markedly
deficient.

Yet another pogue who wants software FREE ---- and doesn't inquire too
closely into capabilities and limitations.

Adios!

You seem markedly deficient in even basic computer skills, what's your
excuse?

Since you enjoy faking being so expert, I'm calling your out. List the
"markedly deficient" features in AVG.

List them right here, right now =====>

My hobby is bugging trolls like you. Seems it was way too easy to pull
your chain. All caps? My, my, what next, need your diaper changed kid?
Obviously you need your mouth washed out with soap.
I noticed you failed to answer my question and list what in your
feeble little mind you think is missing from AVG. Rest of you vulgar
rant deleted.

Mine is running smoothly with McAfee VirusScan Plus, which is VirusScan
11.2, Personal Firewall Plus 8.2.

I'm running the same suite. Also has Security Center 7.2. Was using it
with XP, upgraded to Vista Home Premium.
Running fine, even with email scanning.

I can't suggest one full suite that does _all_ that.

Webroot spy sweeper plus AVAST will cover all of that between them (spy
sweeper has an optional AV product which would then probably meet your
definition, but I haven't tried the AV component so I'm not gonna BS you
about it).

Up to you, of course, but I prefer mixing and matching to find something
that meets my needs to buying a suite that might be strong in some areas but
not so much in others.

Why is Wellbutrin prescribed?

Wellbutrin is prescribed to help relieve major depression. Symptoms include
a severely depressed mood (for 2 weeks or more) and loss of interest or
pleasure in usual activities accompanied by sleep and appetite disturbances,
agitation or lack of energy, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, decreased
sex drive, inability to concentrate, and sometimes, suicidal thoughts or
behavior.

Wellbutrin is thought to work by altering levels of the brain chemicals
norepinephrine and dopamine. It is not chemically related to other
antidepressants such as tricyclics (Elavil), MAO inhibitors (Nardil,
Parnate), or serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (Paxil and Prozac).
