Do I have local administrator privileges??

I have an install program which MUST be run by a local administrator (I
assume that it make changes to a protected part of the registry or
something). What I need is a simple test for administrator privileges which
users can run before they try to run the install package.

Ideally I would need a console command I can use to see if the current user
is in the local admins group.

Does anyone know if this is possible, or is there another test which can be
used here?
