Does anyone know why my internet explorer home page would
keep resetting itself? Even after "applying", saving the
url for my home page, it keeps resetting itself to:
www.coolsearch.com and some other variations of ... I
noticed that these sites also popup automatically when I
do a search in google ... (Automatically opens up a new
web page with saying "search the search engines"
(http://search-company.com/search.php?) ... Is this a
bug? Help? Is there some executable that keeps doing
this? (Problem started about a month ago)

Global-Finder (CoolWebSearch spyware). This is a trojan/spyware that hijacks Internet Explorer start and search settings to one of several different web sites

Download CoolWebSearch destroyer from here:
http://www.merijn.org/files/CWShredder.exe

And download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com and update it. It eliminates for any other spyware, if present in the system.
