display months (in date format) in capital letters

Dear community friends,
Whenever I type a date format (yy-mm) excel exhibits the month in small
letters. (Jan-07)
Is there any option to show the same in capital letters?

I believe the format Excel uses comes from the internals of Windows and
cannot be changed.

Hi Jim

That's interesting.
I had thought it would be connected with Regional settings, but I could
not see any way of adjusting this.
If you choose French, then it always comes out in lower case of jan, fev
etc., but all the versions of English come out as Jan, Feb etc. i.e.
Proper case

I had hoped that XL2007 would have given the opportunity of responding
to the user input in Custom settings and given
JAN if the user typed MMM, Jan for Mmm and jan for mmm but regrettably
no, it remains the same as in all earlier versions of Excel.
