Disable Startup Items

Hello. You know how in Win 98 (ME etc) you could run
msconfig and manually disable startup programs? Does
anyone know the equivalent process in Win2K? I've been
searching for years and I'm darned if I can find it.
Cheers, Eamonn

hi Eamonn,
msconfig is not a capability of Win 2000 as I found out by
calling Microsoft. You now have to right click on the my
Computer icom, scroll down to manage. Once the program
opens scroll down to services and applications, then
services. This is where you tell your system what to run
automatically or manual. Hope this helps.
