"Delayed Write Failed" during backup over home network

Guest

Hi All,

I used to be able to use Enhanced Windows backup on my laptop to backup
through my home network to an external hard drive attached to my desktop.
Recently, I get the above mentioned error after about 3 Gb is backed up. I
have checked the MS knowledge base but suggestions made there do not apply.
I have SP2 on both units. The laptop and external drive are NTSF. I cannot
think of any changes that I have made except for converting the external HD
to NTSF from FAT32 and installing IE7 on both computers. I have absolutely
no problem performing the same type backup from the desktop to the external
HD.

Thanks for any help!
