Defender warning message

The windows defender found a virus after scanning my computer. The program
stated that it needed to reboot the computer for the deletion to be
completed. This was done. When you look at history, it says it was completed
but a warning box CONSTANTLY keeps popping up telling me this item is still
on the computer and needs to be deleted. Why wont whis warning go away. If it
is still a valid threat then why didn't it fix the problem. The virus it
found was Virtumonde.G. I didn't have this problem with the old MS
Antispyware Beta program. Can someone help me on this matter.

In this forum, enter virtumonde in the search box. You will see many posts
discussing the problem. I don't have a clear understanding as to way Windows
Defender can't cope with virtumonde; however, I would manually delete the
dll's associated with virtumonde and then do another scan.
