cwcspud.sys kmode_exception_not_handled blue screen

Can anyone tell me what to make of a cwcspud.sys
kmode_exception_not_handled blue screen ?

The sys file is part of the crystal audio software and yet
everytime I've had the operation occur I haven't had any
sound applications running to my knowledge.

Thanks for any feedback

The driver is most likely still loaded however. Is that the driver listed
every time an error happens?

There is no sound application necessary. This happened to me too, mostly
when I pushed the back button of the internet explorer. There is a little
klick-noise, which is generated by the sound card.
Unfortunately I am looking for a solution too...

Chad and Andrea,

STOP 0x0000001E blue screens are pretty common ones, and that alone does not
help us very much. What does help is that the faulting driver filename was
on the STOP screen. That driver is the cause of the crash. Even when sound
isn't playing, the drivers for the sound card itself are installed and
running constantly in the background.

To correct this issue, you will need to get an update for your sound card
drivers. I would go the vendor's website and download the latest versions.
