Customizing contact forms in Business Contact Manager

Michael Schlueter

I am trying to customize my contact form by utilizing the
edit function in the forms options menue. I am having
difficulty saving the edited form as the program tells me
that I must have a name in it to save it. I want to save
it as a default template for that part of of Outlook
Business Contact Manager. I also want to be able to
import data from Excell into this form including the
custom fields contained in the edited contact form. I
cannot seem to get that work either. HELP!!

Sue,

Thank very much, this worked perfectly.

if your ever in Calgary, I owe you lunch:)

Now how do I import an excel file to the BCM database and
then map into the custom fields on the new page I just
put in the form?

So I have the customized form published and it does come
up as the default contact for. When I type information
into the custion fields on the page I added it does not
seem to store that information anywhere. What can I do
to correct this?

Check the Value tab for the controls on the added page to make sure that
each is bound to an Outlook property.
