I downloaded some program that desabled my aplication
manager (i think thats the name of the program you acess
throght the shortcut ctr+alt+del). when I use the
combination ctr+alt+del, it brings up a dialog box
informing that the application manager was disabled by
the administrator (but i am th admnistrator). also, i
don´t have the shutdown icon at the start menu anymore.
to shut the computer down, i have to terminate setion to
be able to use the shutdown button.
If anyone knows what should i do to make it work
normally, i´d apreciate very much a hint...

thanks for the atention and sorry about the eventual bad
english (it´s not my mother language)

Look in the right pane for a value called NoClose. If it exists it should
be set to 0 (zero). If not, right click the NoClose value and select Modify.
Change it to 0. If the value doesn't exist, right click in a blank area of
the right pane and select New, DWord value and name it NoClose. Leave it
set at 0.

Next go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Look in the right pane for DisableTaskMgr and repeat the steps above, using
DisableTaskMgr as the value name.
