Does anyone know what the difference between green and
red lines on my cpu usaage?

Red denotes system processes, Green shows processes from the
User. Flip over to the Processes Tab and look for the User Name
associated with each process. If that column isn't visible, use View
,Select Columns.

It's also helpful to add the following:
VM Usage
Peak Memory Usage
Threads
Handles
Page Faults
