Could not start Windows Firewall/ Internet Connection Sharing(ICS)

Guest

i have networked my PC and my laptop both using Windows XP service pack 2. I
used to able to share my internet conncetion among both. The networked both
pc and laptop via a wireless connection (802 b). I can still ping the host
computer (the PC) from the client computer (the laptop) and vice versa. But
the for the last two days I have been unable to reach the internet from the
client computer. Whenever I try to enable ICS on the connection that connects
thre host to the Internet i get an error a message. This what the Event
Viewer has recorded:

The Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service terminated
with the following error:
An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.

But i checked the IP address of the wireless card which is 192.168.0.1. Can
someone please help solving this problem as I used my laptop to connect to my
university network to do my work. Thaks in advance
